Carlos Figueroa

Carlos's story begins in Mexico, from where he immigrated at a young age to Northern California. Growing up, Carlos harbored a deep love for art and design. However, the path to a career in art was not initially clear to him. It wasn't until his time in the Marines that his artistic journey took a defining turn. Fellow Marines, captivated by his drawings and sketches displayed in his barracks room, encouraged him to try tattooing. Although this was an unconventional start, it sparked a passion within Carlos that would shape his future.

Upon completing his military service in 2007, Carlos pursued a formal tattoo apprenticeship, marking the beginning of his professional journey in tattooing. That same year, he met Danielle, who would become not only his wife and partner but also his best friend. Together, they ventured to Alaska in 2011.

Carlos’s artistic repertoire is broad, drawing inspiration from his love for nature, his Hispanic heritage, and his military background. His preferred styles include black and grey, neo-traditional compositions, Japanese styles with a modern twist, and geometric patterns. Carlos takes great pride in designing large custom tattoos, a responsibility he approaches with gratitude for the trust clients place in him.
